Dr. Luis Abrishamian is a Principal Investigator for South Bay Clinical Research Institute which he founded in Redondo Beach, California. He graduated from MIT with a BS in chemical engineering in 2004, and obtained his MD from the University of Massachusetts in 2008. He finished Emergency Medicine training at LA County + USC Hospital in 2012. Since residency training he has worked full time as an Emergency Physician at Providence Torrance and works in senior leadership on various pediatric and adult committees. His research career took flight during COVID with adult COVID therapeutics, and continues with an ID focus and interest in GI, cardiovascular, and researching metabolic treatments.
