Nicholas Moore, Ph.D., D(ABMM), is an associate professor at Rush University and associate director in the Division of Clinical Microbiology, Department
of Pathology, and director of the Biocontainment Laboratory at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Moore is board-certified in medical and public health microbiology and oversees daily operations in the microbiology and molecular infectious disease testing laboratories. His research focuses on the epidemiology of multiple drug-resistant organisms, antiseptic and biocide resistance in MDROs, and diagnostic stewardship strategies in clinical microbiology.
