Maria del Mar Lucio Paredes, MD
Born and raised in Ecuador, finished medical school in Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Moved to the US in 2017 to complete Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, where as a third year resident experienced and survived the first few months of the COVID pandemic in the US in one of the most impacted cities in the world. Later relocated to Tucson, Arizona where completed Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, just a few months ago, moved to Washington State to start my first job as an Infectious Diseae physician.
