Dr. Galant Chan graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency training at Columbia University Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington Medical Center.
Dr. Chan currently serves as Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baylor College of Medicine, and as Director of the HIV Prevention Clinic at Thomas Street Health Center. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases, and holds a secondary faculty appointment in the Department of Education, Innovation and Technology. Her professional interests include HIV prevention, general and transplant infectious diseases, and medical education.
