I am a 3rd year pediatric resident at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and am planning to start my pediatric infectious disease fellowship next year. I currently am involved in epidemiological research on viral respiratory illnesses in children with Dr. Staat in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. This research currently focuses on adenovirus respiratory illnesses and coinfections. My interests within pediatric infectious disease include epidemiology and public health research. I hope to continue research in these areas during my fellowship.

I am from Franklin, TN and attended college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison where I earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. I completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center at Memphis, TN. My wife and I have a beautiful 2-year-old daughter with whom we love to visit parks, hiking trails, zoos, and museums.
