Dr. Parul Patel is a Global Medical Affairs Director for Cabotegravir, for HIV Treatment and Prevention, at ViiV Healthcare and previously served as the Cabotegravir Clinical Pharmacology Program Leader from 2014-2019. Dr. Patel has held a variety of roles from drug discovery, early to late stage clinical development, and medical affairs during the past 16 years at GlaxoSmithKline within Infectious Diseases and ViiV Healthcare. Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center and a pediatric pharmacology fellowship at the Pediatric Pharmacology and Research Unit at UCSD.
