Dr. Lampiris is the Chief of the Infectious Disease Section at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System and Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF. In addition, he is the medical director of the Infectious Disease Clinic at the SFVA and has served as UCSF Adult ID Fellowship Associate Program Director for over 20 years. His areas of interest include HIV Primary Care, Antiretroviral Therapy and HIV/ID medical education. He is a member of the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators, is on the planning committee of the American Conference for the Treatment of HIV (ACTHIV) and serves as core faculty for IAS-USA Cases on the Web. He is the recipient of the UCSF ARI George S. Sarlo Award for Teaching Excellence and the UCSF Vincent Pons Award for Clinical infectious Disease Teaching Excellence.
