This activity will discuss the care of patients hospitalized with SARS-CoV-2 infection. The program will address the burden of COVID-19 in the US as well as the current circulating strains. The program is designed to help clinicians integrate the latest treatment guidelines and management strategies for this patient population into their practice. The program will present the results of the latest clinical trials of novel therapies for COVID 19 to inform clinicians' choice of therapy for patients hospitalized with SARS-CoV-2 to reduce the risk of mortality.

Dr. Paul Feuerstadt, Dr. Sahill Khanna and Dr. Teena Chopra discuss case-based clinical scenarios and best practices to manage recurrent Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile)infections. This activity will inform clinicians about the risk factors and prevention strategies for recurrent C. difficile infections, as well as the recommended treatment options, including microbiota restoration therapies.
