Kristoffer Wong, DO, FACOS is currently a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Kristoffer Wong is board certified in General Surgery and Trauma/Surgical Critical Care. He is the Director of the Robotics Committee ,the Director of Hurley Hernia Centers of Excellence and affiliated with Michigan State University College of Medicine as a clerkship director for both General Sugery and Surgical Crtiical Care. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his residency at St. John Providence Health System and his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Wayne State University as well as a fellowship in Trauma Surgery at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Wong’s interests are in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. As the Director of the Hurley Hernia Center of Excellence, Dr. Wong strives to provide comprehensive care for all hernias. Dr. Wong recently joined the Hurley Bariatric Center of Excellence to also provide additional options for minimally invasive bariatric surgery and as a option for surgical weight loss in those patients who struggle from both hernia disease and obesity.
