Dr Raymond was born in Newark DE, and attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore MD where he graduated with degrees in Biology and Psychology. After completion of his undergraduate work in Baltimore, he matriculated to the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA and later completed both his internship and residency in General Surgery at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, PA. For the past 4 years Dr. Raymond has been practicing General and Breast Surgery at West Virginia University Health System - Untied Hospital Center in Bridgeport WV, where he serves as a faculty preceptor for UHC's family practice residency program and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) rotating students. Dr. Raymond is board certified in general surgeon and received the Presidential Citation at the 2019 ACOS ACA for role in the In-depth review committee and as co chair for the 2019 In depth Review in Des Moines, IA. In 2019, Dr. Raymond was recognised by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS) as having recived the top oral board score in the country in 2018.
