Rajiv Amesur, DO
As a fourth generation physician, the study of medicine is a personal and professional passion of Dr. Amesur. He has dedicated the past 20 years to his education, training and experience in the field of pulmonary, critical care and internal medicine. In 2004, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Sociology from Case Western Reserve University. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Osteopathic with honors from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Following his education, Dr. Amesur trained in osteopathic medicine at Riverside County Regional Medical Center. From 2013 to 2015, he completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. In 2018, Dr. Amesur completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Valley Hospital Residency in Las Vegas, Nevada. The culmination of his education and experience resulted in the distinction of triple board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care.
In combination with his extensive education and training, Dr. Amesur’s medical acumen is underscored by his practical experience in a variety of medical facilities and physician roles. Since 2014, he has provided medical services in facilities including hospital, urgent care, in-home and private practice. As a resident and practicing physician, Dr. Amesur has provided assessment, routine, emergency, surgical and follow-up care in the fields of internal medicine, critical care and pulmonary health. Since 2018 and throughout the Covid-19 global pandemic, Dr. Amesur has served as an Attending Physician in Pulmonary Management, Intensive Care and Critical Care at Dignity Health hospitals in Las Vegas and Henderson.
