Mayura Shinde, DrPH, MPH, is a Research Scientist in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Mayura received both her Doctorate in Epidemiology and Environmental Health and her MPH in Epidemiology from Texas A&M Health Science Center. She has been with Sentinel for the past three years and has worked on several projects conducting post-marketing drug safety research and contributed to development and enhancement of Sentinel automated tools.
Mayura’s prior research has focused on assessing perinatal outcomes from maternal drug and dietary nitrates exposures during pregnancy and her work within Sentinel has focused on examining maternal exposures during pregnancy with a recent drug safety analyses presented at a FDA advisory committee meeting. Prior to joining the Department of Population Medicine, Mayura worked as a Senior Researcher at HealthCore.
