Dr Rohini Mathur is an assistant professor of epidemiology and Sir Henry Wellcome postdoctoral fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
She is an epidemiologist specializing in the use of large electronic health databases such as the Clinical Practice Research Datalink, and population cohorts such as the UK Biobank. Her research focuses on the use of UK electronic health record data to identify ethnic inequalities in trajectories of diabetes risk factor control and outcomes across the health care pathway.
She is currently working as a member of OpenSAFELY, a collaboration between the DataLab at the University of Oxford, the electronic health record group at LSHTM leading studies related to ethnic inequalities in COVID-19 related outcomes.
