Julie C. Lauffenburger, PharmD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Epidemiologist in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her work mainly focuses on cardiometabolic diseases where she has expertise in observational study designs, predictive analytics and pragmatic randomized trials to answer clinically-important questions related to medication use and adherence. Dr. Lauffenburger is also the Assistant Director of the Center for Healthcare Delivery Sciences at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
