I am a physician trained in India with three years post-graduate work in Pharmacology and have completed my Master's in Clinical Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Currently, I am a PhD student in Population Health Sciences (field of study - Epidemiology) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. My thesis work involves the assessment of the optimal duration of anticoagulant use in patients with venous thromboembolism. I am also interested in evaluating the optimal use of medications for chronic diseases as well as drug safety in vulnerable populations such as pregnant women and children.
