Presentation of the inaugural Judith K. Jones Award for Impact on Public Health through Pharmacoepidemiology
Judith K. Jones passed away peacefully on Aug 4, 2020, aged 79, after months of battling lung cancer. Judith was ISPE's president in 1992, received Honorary Lifetime Fellowship in 2017, and contributed many years of volunteer service to ISPE, most recently on our Finance Committee, helping to steer the growth of ISPE's financial reserves. She was much admired and respected by all in our community; she made enormous contributions to ISPE.

Judith made a bequest to ISPE to fund an award that recognizes an individual achieving a sustained, demonstrable impact on public health through work in the area of pharmacoepidemiology. The individual must reside and work in a country ranked lower than "Very High Human Development" by the UN Human Development Index. Two individuals will be presented this award at the Opening Session. Bill Rogers, Judith's husband, will be on hand, together with family members, to share remarks on what this award meant to Judith and join the presentation of the award.
