My name is Belén Castillo Cano. Holding a degree in Mathematics and MSc in Statistics, I am developing my young professional career as a biostatistician in the Pharmacoepidemiology research field. At this time, I am studying a PhD in Technology in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Statistics in Girona University (Girona, Spain) (title: Assessing the risk of thyroiditis and Guillain-Barre Syndrome following vaccination against papillomavirus by using primary care electronic health records, an observational pharmacoepidemiological study) and I am collaborating as a junior biostatistician in different project with the BIFAP team, in the department of Pharmacoepidemiology at the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) in Madrid, Spain.

papillomavirus vaccination", "Assessment of thyroiditis risk associated with HPV vaccination among girls aged 9-18 years: A time-varying cohort study", "Papillomavirus vaccination and Guillain-Barre Syndrome among girls: a population-based study in Spain" and "Handling with vaccine type missing data in a dynamic cohort to assess the link between time-varying vaccination and an autoimmune disease".
