Dr Sri Harsha had graduated in Pharmacy and qualified GPAT and completed master’s in pharmacy practice with Frank May's gold medal. He is a recipient of Department of Science and Technology’s - Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (DST-INSPIRE) fellowship for doctoral research.
Dr Sri Harsha conducts various Pharmacoepidemiological studies concerning patient safety in hospital setting. For his work, he received numerous travels grants to attend and present research papers in international conferences that were held at Ireland, Oman, Australia, Canada, Prague, Japan, and Ras Al Khaimah and has Three Best Poster awards for his work and 40 publications including one in The New England Journal of Medicine and American Heart Association’s The Circulation to his credit with 1804 citations and is a certified mentor with Publons (web of science).
Further, he has worked as primary clinical research coordinator for Covid vaccine trials (Covishield ® and Covovax ®) in India during 1st and 2nd waves of COVID-19. Currently, Dr Harsha is working on convergence of Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacovigilance to further strengthen the patient safety.
