Oliver Scholle is a pharmacist by training and a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS in Bremen, Germany. The vast majority of his research is based on the German Pharmacoepidemiological Research Database (GePaRD), which contains longitudinal claims data covering about 20% of the German population.
Currently, his research includes (i) adherence to prescribing guidelines; (ii) use of drugs and psychotherapy in children and adolescents with a diagnosis of ADHD; (iii) antibiotic consumption in early-life; and (iv) regional differences in antibiotic consumption in Germany.
Oliver has been a member of ISPE since 2018 and joined the Pediatric SIG immediately.
