Dr. Marie Linder (female) is a biostatistician with a PhD degree in mathematical statistics from Stockholm University and with work-life experience from the pharmaceutical industry (AstraZeneca 1998-2007), authorities (the national board of health and welfare 2007-2011), and from academia (centre for pharmacoepidemiology 2011-current). She has currently contributed to more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals, most in the field of pharmacoepidemiology. She has also contributed to more than 25 commission studies (drug utilization and post-authorisation safety studies) at the centre for pharmacoepidemiology, Karolinska Institutet. Moreover, she has co-supervised one doctoral student and main-supervised two master students. Besides the work as a biostatistician, she also takes part in developing in-house common data models and quality systems, leads the group of statisticians at the centre for pharmacoepidemiology and act as a project manager.
