Jihye (Pronunciation: JEE-Hay) is a recent PhD graduate in the Department of Epidemiology at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her research focus is on cancer epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology. Prior to UNC, she worked at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, UT conducting research to support cancer prevention and control. She has a MSPH from the University of Utah and a BS from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. She worked as a Pharmacovigilance Associate, and Registered Nurse in South Korea. Jihye has experience in designing and conducting observational research studies within SEER data, insurance claims, and healthcare databases.
