Daniel Schneider was born on July 3, 1978 in North Rhein-Westphalia, Germany. He studied law at the Philipps – University of Marburg, Hesse.
In 2004 he acquired an additional qualification in pharmaceutical law by the University in Marburg. Another additional qualification in food law, he acquired in 2006.
From 2007 to 2011, Schneider was employed at the law office "Krell Weyland Grube", based in Gummersbach, Germany. Since 2012, Schneider has been admitted as a lawyer and has worked as a consultant for food law and industrial property rights at the German Bakers’ Confederation in Berlin. In 2015 he became Secretary General of the Confederation.
Schneider lectured at numerous seminars and conferences, inter alia at the Food Law Academy of the Philipps University in Marburg, at the Masterclass of the German Bakers Academy in Weinheim and at the iba show. He also represents the German Bakers’ Confederation in committees of the Food Federation Germany as well as in the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts. Furthermore, in 2022 he became Member of the Board of the European Confederation of national Bakery and Confectionery Organisations.
