Nathan Norris
Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Nathan currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for Highland Baking Company. Nathan has held this position since May 2021.
Nathan has been with Highland Baking Company for 5 years and has been in the baking industry for 43 years, working for Wendy’s International from 1979 to 2017 before joining Highland Baking Company.
His job includes training and developing people and programs to have a vendor, employee, supervisor, and management team representative of the diverse communities that we live and operate in. Nathan is very team-focused, honest, hardworking, and dedicated. Throughout Nathan's years in the baking industry, his objective has always been to motivate and empower employees into teams to manufacture products to meet and exceed the customers’ expectations and be the highest quality supplier at the lowest cost. Nathan completed the Certified Baker Program at the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan, Kansas in February 2002. Nathan served in the United States Army for 18 years.
