Sara LaSuer is a Senior Technologist for Microbiology for Corbion, a global market leader in lactic acid and its derivatives, and a leading supplier of emulsifiers, functional enzyme blends, minerals, vitamins and algae ingredients.
Ms. LaSuer’s current role focuses on natural mold inhibition as well as food safety. She works in a wide range of applications including meat, pet food, savory applications, and bakery. She is focused on both customer driven projects to validate the shelf life and safety of a product as well as internal projects focused on delivering new and improved Corbion products.
Prior to working at Corbion, Ms. LaSuer worked for 3 years in pharmaceutical development and has been with Corbion since 2017.
Ms. LaSuer graduated from the University of Missouri in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is currently working on a Master's degree at Kansas State University and will be due to finish in fall of 2022.
