Born and raised in the shadows of the Durant Building, home of Burry Biscuits, Inc in Elizabeth, NJ. Joined Burrys, a division of Quaker Oats, in 1979, as mixer apprentice.
One of the first jobs was cutting open 100 lbs burlap sacks of peanuts to feed the roaster to make the PB for Gaucho sandwich and GS cookies. After 10 years in Mixing Dept
In 1991, became Supervisor of Machining & Baking, and in 1993 joined the R&D Group of Interbake Foods, part of George Weston family of bakeries.
In 2005, was a member of the start-up team of Interbake's new Bakery in Front Royal, Va. as Technical Support and Commercialization Dir.
In 2022, as Sr Mgr R&D and Product Development of Cookies, Cones, Ice Cream wafers; became part of the Hearthside Food Solutions family of bakeries in an acquisition from Westonfoods.
Continuing to develop and commercialize some of the most iconic baked ingredients for frozen novelties, crackers, and biscuits.
