Shannon specialized bakery application technical support and innovation studies with a focus on the food protection & preservation portfolio. Shannon co-creates solutions with customers. translating the portfolio of ingredients into successful finished products. She has been with Kerry for eleven years and in that time has held roles and gained experience from lab to production. Shannon initially focused on developing the clean label portfolio for shelf-life extension and optomizing the portfolio's performance in applictaion. Here she discovered a passion for bakery where she has played a key role in successfully integrating the preservation portfolio into production facilities with quick to market turn around.
Shannon regularly travels to customer production facilities to help them troubleshoot and optimise their formulations and production processes.
Shannon has a BS in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, essentially a microbiologist by education and a baker by trade.
