Marcel Sturkenboom is Director Lallemand Baking Applications. He graduated from the Wageningen Master Bakery School in 1987. M. Sturkenboom started his career as a Bakery Application Specialist at Quest International in 1987. In 1996 he started his own company BTC and was responsible for the design of the building enzyme blocks with a specific application value. His company was bought by ABF in 2005 and M. Sturkenboom worked as the Bakery Application Director for 4 years at AB Mauri. M. Sturkenboom became a shareholder of Best Bake in 2009 which was acquired by Lallemand in 2016. M. Sturkenboom is responsible for the development of ingredient solutions for bread- and cake applications together with his team of baking experts at the innovation center in Wagenberg, The Netherlands.
