Justine is the award winning cake artist behind Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop, Northern Ontario's original luxury bakery.
She is a Food Network competitor and in 2019, lead the only Canadian team to ever compete in Pillsbury's Creative Cake Decorating Competition at IBIE. In 2020, she was named Cake Artist of the Year by the Ontario Wedding Awards and was a finalist for Rising Star of Year at the American Cake Awards.
Justine has been featured by Huffington Post, Business Insider, VakeMag, Baker's Journal, CTV, CBC, RadioCanada, LCBO, Today's Bride, Hitched Wedding Magazine, and more.
After skyrocketing her bakery to international acclaim through earned media alone, she began teaching other sweetpreneurs and wedding industry professionals her methods for leveraging free press to increase brand recognition, bolster credibility, generate more revenue and even explore new revenue streams.
Justine is also a prominent keynote speaker and emcee in the cake and sweets sphere, working with several major expositions and publications, including The Ultimate Sugar Show, Canada's Bakery Showcase and Baker's Journal.
Prior to becoming an award winning cake artist, Justine worked as a public relations professional with renowned companies including Hockey Night in Canada's Play On!, Ottawa Senators, Science North, and Mortgage Alliance.
