Description: In this class you will learn how easy it is to make beautiful professionally decorated cookies! We affectionately call it "edible art!" You will experience hands-on how to make the correct "densities/thickness" of icing to both outline and "fill" or "flood" the cookie. You will also learn the "wet on wet" technique. Decorator bags and tips as well as squeeze bottles will be used. Once you have mastered the decorated cookie, you will see how these works of art can be added to your decorated cakes and bakery case. I will pack this class full of my 35+ years of cookie decorating knowledge - things that I learned the hard way - and will keep you entertained while doing it. (No, I don't juggle or sing) You will decorate and take home 6 beautiful cookies and be able to say "Yes, I made these!"
Classroom Engagement: Hand's on decorating using Icing, Bags, Tips, Colors, & Squeeze Bottles on Ruthann's pre-baked cookies. The recipe for Ruthann's Royal Icing and sugar/shortbread cookie will be shared.
