Description: Business security encompasses all that is required to keep the business secure and operating despite circumstances. This definitely includes cybercrime and all the scary headline grabbing intrusions we read about. But it also includes planning for the unexpected like pandemics, natural disasters and more conventional crime. In this session we survey the business security landscape and discuss a framework for securing your business against interruptions.
Classroom Engagement: As a group we will examine three cases of business security threats that we have all likely experienced in the last 1-2 years. We will use a framework to identify critical business assetts, assess security threats, and reduce our exposure to these risks. Each participant will have the tools to do this for themselves.
