Erin Stanley is a clinical instructor and faculty at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Nursing, and a contract SANE nurse at The Solace Center at InterAct Family Safety and Empowerment Center of Wake County. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Child Life in 2002, Associates Degree in Nursing in 2013, MSN-Ed in 2017, and DNP in April 2022. She has spent most of her nursing career as an emergency department nurse and is a Certified Emergency Nurse. She is currently faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill school of nursing, teaching clinical and didactic courses to undergraduate nursing students. Ms. Stanley completed her SANE training in 2014 and achieved her SANE-A in 2020 and SANE-P in 2022. She has been working as a SANE since 2014. She started working with Dr. Nance-Floyd in the HRSA-funded combination Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program and clinical support in rural hospitals in eastern North Carolina in 2020 in the role of faculty and preceptor and recently has taken the role of Project Director.
