Kristen Crespo has been a Registered Nurse since 2010 graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After numerous years of practice in local Emergency Departments, she completed a Forensic Nurse Examiner course in 2017 and began working with the Monmouth County, NJ SANE Program. In 2019, she became the Assistant Coordinator of that program eventually taking over as the Coordinator in 2021. She completed her Masters of Forensic Nursing at Monmouth University in 2019. Kristen was recently elected President Elect of the NJ Chapter of IAFN.
In 2019 her county program expanded their services from sexual assault patients to include examination of domestic violence non-fatal strangulation patients. At that time, she was involved in the creation of paperwork and processes used by the nurse examiners.
