Mary-Ellen is the pediatric social worker for the Child Safe Program at the VT Children's Hospital. She sits on various Children's Advocacy Center's MDTs throughout VT and upstate NY. She has many years of ongoing and supervisory experience in child protection at the VT Department for Children and Families. She is currently spearheading an effort to develop a peer network for hospital-based social workers on child protection teams- with over 20 hospitals participating. She is the proud mother of two and just for fun, runs marathons.
