Anne Troy has worked 44 years in Nursing, achieving a PhD in Nursing evaluating the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Nurses in LA. She has worked for over 34 years in acute Psychiatry. She is presently an Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans where she teaches Mental Health and Community Health Nursing. Additionally, she works as a Nurse Practitioner at the Audrey Hepburn Clinic CARE center of Children's Hospital in New Orleans where she sees over 500 children a year for allegations of maltreatment, primarily sexual abuse. She has presented her research at national conventions, and internationally at the International Academy of Law and Mental Health in Rome, Italy in 2019 and Lyon France in 2022. She has served over 130 times as an expert in child maltreatment in criminal and civil courts in LA, TX, Mississippi and Virginia.
