Christine Saffell is a retired Sergeant with the Gurnee, IL Police Department. She has worked for 25 years as an evidence technician and forensic photographer. Her work with Sexual Assault response has endured throughout her career, and continues to this day as an active member of the Lake County Illinois State’s Attorney Sexual Assault Medical Subcommittee. She has provided trainings for SANEs and emergency room nurses in forensic photography for the past 10 years. Christine is also a member of the esteemed International Association of Identification, one of the oldest and largest forensic associations in the world.
