She is currently an MPH student at Texas A&M School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences. Over the years, she has developed a passion for health inequities and disparities within minorities in the maternal and child health community as well as global health. Her passion has been medicine since I was a little girl in which she is excited to be able to merge my public health experience with her medical interest as a future physician. After completing her MPH, she plans to attend medical school to focus on equity efforts of women of color in underserved communities within women’s health.
