Erik Simon has worked in the field of live patient simulation as a GTA, FTA & Standardized Patient for approximately four years. His experience in simulated practice has led him to focus his work on bringing awareness of LGBTQ+ patients into the medical & nursing training experience. Currently, Erik handles the transgender health education programming at Clinical Practice Resources and has presented workshops, lectures and symposiums at a number of prestigious Universities in the Northeast. Erik is also the Chair of the Trans Health Committee at the International GTA MUTA Association.
