Susan Painter, DNP, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, is Lead Faculty for the Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University Family Systems Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She has been a Clinician in the field of Psychiatry for over 35 years. Her present clinical role of 28 years as a Consultation Liaison Nurse Practitioner has raised her awareness regarding the needs of the mentally ill population.
