Lily is an Instructional Designer, with a Master’s in Education, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). She currently works as the Assistant Director for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) TeleSANE Program. She has created videos, text, learning modules, and a multitude of other materials to be used for the purpose of facilitating information and education about sexual assault care in Arkansas. Lily strives for bringing equitable education to all who wish to receive it. She supports those with physical, mental or learning disabilities in achieving learning goals by utilizing the Universal Design for Learning process in the education and content she creates. During her undergrad in college, she discovered Anthropology and fell in love with the structures and theories that humans developed to build and sustain societies. Working within this arena she observed the disparity that exists in education and healthcare for people of color, women, and those who identify or live within the LGBTQ+ communities. She considers herself an ally, a feminist, and a friend to any who seek information and knowledge. While pursuing her Master’s Degree, she was approached by UALR to be a part of the Unlimited Pathways Campaign and can be seen in commercials and other various media as a representative of online learning from her alma mater. Lily, lives outside of Little Rock with her son, husband, two dogs, and very persnickety cat, where she enjoys reading, creating, and gardening.
