Joan Pyle is a registered nurse with over thirty years experience in emergency nursing. Joan has specialized in forensic nursing since 1997. Joan is currently working full-time in the Bassett Health Care Network as a SANE program Coordinator and in the emergency department. Joan also is a teleSANE nurse through UCM digital health and is part of several county CAC’s MDT teams performing pediatric for possible sexual abuse. Joan is committed to caring for victims of violence in her community and assisting other professionals with similar goals. Joan is has recently returned to college to finish her BSN studies and to pursue a master's degree in forensic nursing. Joan loves spending time with her family, friends and her crafting projects.
