Danielle has over eight years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Danielle graduated in 2015 with an Honours degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Winnipeg. After working for several years, Danielle continued her education in Child Life and Community Health at the University of the Fraser Valley, graduating in 2020. Most recently, she has been working as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) for two years at the Child Protection Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she is part of a multi-disciplinary team of medical staff, social workers and psychologists who work with children who have experienced maltreatment. She is passionate about empowering children and their caregivers to strengthen their coping with their healthcare experiences.
