Tracy Everett, BSN, RN, AASANE, ECRN earned my Associates in Applied Science Nursing from Olive Harvey College, and then went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. I completed the required didactic and clinic portion of the SANE training given by the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. I have 16 years of nursing experience. I worked in the emergency department of Cermak Health Services of Cook County Correctional Center for 3 years and then worked at John Stroger Hospital in the Emergency Department for the last 13 years. I worked on the Eli Lilly trial study published in the New England Journal of Medicine Bamlanivimab plus Etesevimab in Mild or Moderate Covid-19 on the administration of neutralizing monoclonal-antibody treatment would it provide immediate, passive immunity and may limit disease progression and complication. In this trial study I was the nurse administering the medication and monitoring the patients enrolled in the study. I am a HRSA SANE grant funded program participant for the treatment of Sexual Assault Survivors in Illinois. I am a member of the SASETA Taskforce at John Stroger Hospital. I served on the nurse’s week planning committee, and have engaged myself in several other challenging opportunities where I have tested my knowledge to enhance performance improvement with staff and management. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in nursing with a focus in the executive/leadership track.
