Kenny has over 30 years of law enforcement experience, having served in HM Customs, National Criminal Intelligence Service, Serious Organised Crime Agency and National Crime Agency. In June 2021 he assumed responsibility for the North America and Caribbean region, including The USA, Canada, the British Overseas Territories and the Caribbean. He is the principal advisor (Counsellor) to His Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States on transnational organised crime. Kenny has extensive leadership experience across investigation and intelligence functions. He has led multi agency and multidisciplinary teams in Scotland, England and The Netherlands across a wide range of threat areas. As the senior UK representative at Europol, he represented UK law enforcement interests at the Europol Management Board and COSI (EU Internal Security meeting). Before taking up his current role, he led the NCA and UK law enforcement response to the UK’s departure from the EU.
