Arlington Texas Police Department
Jastin Williams was born & raised in Dallas, TX. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as an Electronics Technician (ET). After the military, he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. Jastin returned to the DFW metroplex after college and joined the Arlington Police Department in 2008. During his tenure, he has served as a patrol officer, a member of a Street Crimes team, a Gang Unit enforcement detective, a police training officer, an In-service Coordinator, and a member of the department’s SWAT team. He currently serves as the department’s Force and Tactics Assessment Coordinator. He has also been a part of numerous community initiatives and programs including Bridging the Gap, Mentoring Arlington Youth, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Beautiful Feet Ministries. Jastin was not only a member of a team who developed and delivered the Arlington Police Department’s Hate Crimes course, he has taught on the subject while partnering with federal and state law enforcement agencies. His passions include his family consisting of his wife and two sons, working out, and doing his part to help make police agency and community relations better.
