Special Agent Amon serves as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) for the ATF Washington Field Division. In this role he oversees ATF criminal enforcement operations in Washington, D.C.
Prior to this role ASAC Amon served as the Chief of the Firearms Operations Division for ATF. In this role, Special Agent Amon managed the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) and Crime Intelligence Programs for ATF, to include the National Correlation and Training Center (NNCTC), and 225 NIBIN sites throughout the country.
Special Agent Amon previously served as the Group Supervisor in the Denver Field Division’s Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC).
SA Amon holds a Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, and a Master’s Degree in Professional Studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
