Det. Efrain Hernandez has been a member of the New York City Police Department for 14 years. Assigned to the Employee Assistance Unit for the past 6 years as a peer suipport counsleor, also serves as a handler for K9 Det. Jenny. Together they provide comfort to all members of the NYPD experiencing trauma or hardships.
