Steven Dickson retired as a police officer from the Suffolk County (NY) Police Department in 2003. He held positions in uniform patrol and Highway Patrol.
Prior to that he was a police officer for the City of Norfolk, Virginia and spent three years in uniform patrol and plainclothes investigations.
Steven served in the US Air Force on active duty and joined the New York Air national Guard. His military service continued ion 1981 when he served in the US Coast Guard starting in 1981 and a Petty Officer. He retired from the Coast Guard in 2015 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. His job duties included pollution investigations, marine casualty investigations and personnel investigations.
He currently resides on Long Island and is employed by the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation as an Investigatibve Analyst supporting special agentspursuing criminal tax matters and other assigned investigations.
