Pastor William Kerney known for his exuberance, kindness, and sincerity, simply desires to spread the love of God everywhere he goes. Bill has been pastoring since 2013 and currently serves as the lead Pastor at Covenant Family Ministries of York, PA. With community service as one of his pillars, Bill was elected President of the Black Ministers’ Association of York in January 2016 and has a zealous vision for this organization to foster "unity among the brethren." Bill has a B.A. in Social Sciences from California University of Pennsylvania and has worked in the discipline of civil rights and equal opportunity since 1983. In 2016 the B.M.A., York area clergy and the Chiefs of Police throughout the county launched the Chiefs & Clergy Partnership of York County (C & C). Pastor Bill is a prominent contributor and active leader in this organization. Shortly after inception, the C & C was recognized by the Department of Justice for their initiatives and collaborative efforts to break through to common ground. They have since won many awards for their lasting impact in the community.Bill has been married to Georgetta for 37 years. The parents of four and have two grandchildren.
