Acting Superintendent Geoff Dickson has been a member of the Western Australia Police Force for 32 years, serving the majority of his time within the Regional WA portfolio in general duties and traffic enforcement roles including Officer in Charge roles at three regional Police Stations. In August 2018, Geoff was promoted to the rank of Inspector as an Assistant District Officer, in the Great Southern Police District.
As Divisional Superintendent of Digital Policing within the WA Police Force, Geoff leads a team delivering digital mobility outcomes for police across Western Australia, including:
• Electronic Infringement and Incident Reporting,
• CarPlay integration,
• ‘Silva Hub’ (incident management) development,
• Digital Evidence Management System, Body Worn Camera, Dash Cam and GIS technology supporting frontline policing effort
Geoff has a number of educational qualifications including a Masters in Emergency Management (Charles Sturt University, NSW, 2016), and Graduate Certificates in Leadership and Management (Australian Institute of Police Management, NSW, 2018) and Executive Leadership and Management (Edith Cowan University, 2014).
