Captain Salem Mesfer Alamimi has been an officer in the Dubai Traffic Police department since 2012 and completed his postgraduate officer’s program in 2013.
Captain Salem provides guidance and leadership to over 100 traffic officers as well as overseeing the development of the trainees. He is responsible for maintaining the information and statistics of road safety in the emirate. His team manage the road traffic planning for the emirate during major national and international events. He works closely with large companies and organisations to improve traffic safety initiatives in the emirate.
He is a strong and passionate advocate for safe responsible driving. He and his team regularly visit universities and schools to promote safe driving as well as educating students of the risks and dangers involved with speeding and reckless driving that often lead to fatal accidents.
Salem holds an MBA from the University of Sunderland UK (2011); a Diploma in Management Studies from Resource Development International London (2008); a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from London International College (2005)
